Three processes, picked for the joint rather than for whatever is already set up.
MIG, TIG and spot welding are all available on the floor. Every steel panel, shelf and bracket Megawall sells is a welded assembly, so the welders here spend their days on exactly the kind of work most contract jobs consist of.
Capability
“Formed and welded” is a claim we have to back every day.
The phrase appears all over this site: heavy-gauge steel, formed and welded. It is what separates a Megawall panel from a routed MDF board with an aluminum insert, and it is why a slat carries over 50 lbs per linear foot.
Having all three processes in-house means the joint dictates the method rather than the other way round. Spot welding for repeatable sheet assemblies. MIG where deposition rate and speed matter on production runs. TIG where the weld is visible, the material is thin, or the finish has to survive a powder coat without telegraphing.
Welding sits between forming and finishing in the same building, so a welded assembly goes straight to powder coat without a shipping leg in the middle.

What to send us
The four things that let us quote properly.
Material and thickness
Process selection starts here. Thin gauge, dissimilar thicknesses and aluminum all push towards different answers.
Where the weld shows
A structural weld inside an assembly and a visible weld on a display face are different jobs. Tell us which you have.
What finish follows
If the assembly is going to be powder coated, we plan the weld for it — preparation is a lot cheaper than a rejected finish.
Fixturing and repeat
A repeating production assembly justifies fixturing that a one-off does not. Say whether this is a prototype or the start of a run.

Ready to start
Tell us the material, the thickness and the quantity.
That is usually enough for a feasibility answer on the same call. Drawings help; a photo of the existing part works too.
