NuPanel

Keep the gondolas. Replace what is actually failing you.

The gondolas on your floor are structurally fine. The pegboard in them is what limits what you can merchandise. NuPanel drops 1″ aluminum slatwall into the same bay in about a minute — no fixture replacement, no rebuild, no closed aisle for a week.

The idea, in one drawing

Same gondola. Different back. Ten times the merchandising options.

Pegboard limits you to a hook. A 1″ on-center aluminum slat takes hooks, shelves, brackets and faceouts, and carries over 50 lbs per linear foot doing it.

Three-step sequence: an existing gondola with a pegboard back; a NuPanel aluminum slatwall panel dropping into the same bay on Panel-Mod clips in about one minute; the finished bay merchandised on 1 inch on center slats rated over 50 lbs per linear foot. 1 · Existing gondola Pegboard back, limited capacity 2 · NuPanel drops in Panel‑Mod clips, 6″ increments 3 · Merchandised 1″ O.C. aluminum, 50+ lb/ft ~1 min

Why retrofit

The maths of not replacing your fixtures.

The gondola is not the problem

Uprights and bases outlast several merchandising cycles. Replacing a whole run to change the merchandising surface means paying for structure you already own — and losing the aisle while it happens.

Pegboard caps what you can sell

A pegboard back means hooks, and hooks mean light product. A 1″ slat takes shelves, brackets and faceouts at over 50 lbs per linear foot, so a bay can carry categories it previously could not.

A minute a section scales

At roughly a minute per bay with a clip system and no drilling, a retrofit fits inside overnight windows. That is what makes it viable across a multi-location rollout rather than one flagship.

Three panel types

Back of the bay, end of the run, and the bit that extends it.

Replaces the pegboard back of a standard gondola bay. This is the workhorse of the system.

1″ on center is the densest spacing Megawall makes. On a gondola bay that matters more than anywhere else: shelf and hook positions land almost exactly where the planogram wants them rather than at the nearest 3″.

Common questions about NuPanel

No — that is the entire point of NuPanel. The panels drop into the standard gondolas already on your floor and replace the pegboard back with 1" on center aluminum slatwall. You keep the uprights, the base and the footprint, and you change what merchandises.
About one minute. The Panel-Mod clip system locates in 6" increments, so a bay goes in without drilling, without a template and without taking the run apart.
Retrofit panels are made for 36" and 48" gondola widths, in heights of 12", 24" and 36" in 6" increments.
The retrofit panel replaces the back of a standard gondola bay. The endcap panel finishes the end of a run — 14.5", 36" or 48" wide in 48", 60" or 72" heights. The wing panel extends the merchandising surface at 48", 54" or 66" high, or custom.
Over 50 lbs per linear foot — the same rating as the wall systems, and a substantial step up from what pegboard carries.
Yes. NuPanel is anodized aluminum made from 50%+ recycled content and carries the same LEED certification as the aluminum slatwall system.
Yes. Optional protective rails and graphic areas are available, which is how most multi-location programmes handle category signage on a retrofitted run.

That is genuinely enough to start. We will tell you which panel fits, how many you need per run, and what a pilot store would cost before you commit to a chain.
