H-Frame

Four sprawling faces, and the capacity to carry a whole category.

The largest of the four frames. Two parallel wings joined by a centre spine give you four merchandising surfaces on one fixture — 48″ long, 26″ deep and 54″ tall as standard, in steel or aluminum.

Why this frame

One fixture that does the work of a wall run.

The H-Frame is the frame you specify when a category needs to live in the middle of the floor rather than against a wall. Four faces means four times the merchandising surface of a single-sided unit, and because the panels are the same steel or aluminum slatwall used on the walls, the display reads as part of the store rather than as a bolt-on.

It needs space around it to work. Customers have to be able to walk the perimeter, which is why the H-Frame belongs on open floor and the Pinwheel belongs in the aisle.

Casters make a seasonal reset a matter of pushing it rather than rebuilding it, and the unit ships knocked down so freight on a multi-store rollout stays sensible.

Where it works

Put it where it earns its floor space.

Open floor, centre of a department

Where customers can circulate all the way around and every one of the four faces earns its space.

Category destinations

A single fixture large enough to carry an entire line, with shelves on some faces and peg hooks on others.

Seasonal resets

On casters it moves rather than gets rebuilt, so a floor plan change does not become a fixture order.

Common questions about the H-Frame

The standard H-Frame is 48 inches long, 26 inches wide and 54 inches high, in both the steel and the aluminum version. Custom heights, widths and lengths are available.
More than the other three frames. Its four faces only pay off if customers can walk the full perimeter, so plan clear circulation on all sides. If the aisle is tight, the Pinwheel gives you the same four faces in a smaller footprint.
Yes. Separate H-unit assembly instructions are published for the steel and the aluminum versions, and both are in the resource centre.
Yes, with casters — which is the usual specification, because the H-Frame is most often used for category displays that change with the season.
